WHAT IS 800/2000/2500MESH CHROMITE FLOUR?
Chromite flour is made from chrome ore,ground to different sizes,with 40-50% Cr2O3,mainy from South africa,Oman,Zimbabwe etc.
For chromite flour,the normal sizes in the market are 200mesh 325mesh,but with the end-users’ requirement changing higher,the finer sizes are requested recently.
At the moment,some refractroy,pigment factories request 800mesh chromite flour,even 2000mesh and 2500mesh chromite flour.
Then what is the exact sizes of 800/2000/2500mesh chromite flour?
800mesh chromite flour—more then 95% particles less than 18microns
2000mesh chromite flour—at least 95% particles less than 6.5um
2500mesh chromite flour—over 95% particales smaller than 5.5um
